Smart product application guides

zencontrol smart devices, such as switches and sensors allow standalone use though their inbuilt application controllers. These products use multi-master control-system logic which allows them to interact with other smart devices and create simple networks but allow complex control. 

Standalone systems can be transformed into building-wide, or cloud connected systems with the addition of a zencontrol application controller or zencontrol field controller. 

Smart devices can be used to control static load, DALI wired lines, DALI wireless lines or a hybrid installation using a combination of wired and wireless devices. 

Quantities based on average current consumption of typical products. All designs should consider the current rating of connected devices to ensure they do not exceed the supply current from the connected power supply(s)

Presence sensor
Sensor control of DALI lighting, relays and loads.
Turns the lighting on when a person is detected.
When no motion is detected for 15 minutes, the lighting will go to a low light level before switching off. Additional application Guides
Multiple sensors
Use two or more sensors for better detection of motion which is ideal for large rooms or areas.
  • Provides sensor control of DALI lighting, relays and loads.
  • Turns the lighting on when a person is detected.
  • When no motion is detected for 15 minutes, the lighting will go to a low light level before switching off.
  • All sensors must have no motion before the lighting will turn off.

  • The sensors will turn the lighting on when an occupant is detected.
  • When no motion is detected the sensor will turn the lighting off.
