Commissioning
The DALI devices on a line will respond to DALI broadcast commands without commissioning, allowing for out of the box control of the DALI devices. However, for optimal use of a building, the installer can set up groups, scenes, min and max levels, power on levels, system failure level, fade rate and fade time for each device, during the commissioning stage.
Addressing
Each DALI device on a line requires an address to respond to individual commands. To perform either type of addressing, the installer will require a DALI addressing tool. You can contact us for more information on addressing tools.
