Connecting smart sensors together via DALI ( DALI inbuilt PSU versions)
Standalone mode - connecting multiple smart sensors
Multiple sensors can be connected together via the DALI line. Up to 5 sensors with inbuilt PSUs can be connected together increasing the total bus current (polarity of the DALI power must be observed).
When connected together the sensors will work together to control their targeted devices but can be configured with the zencontrol express app to control different targets.

Connecting Smart Sensors together via DALI ( External DALI powersupply)
Sensors without internal PSUs can be connected together with the use of an external DALI power supply.
Alternatively, a hybrid installation can be made where some sensors are supplied with a DALI PSU and some are not.
Up to 16 sensors can be connected together, however, this is only a recommendation and technically 64 sensors can be connected to the same installation. Each sensor will only consume 2mA from the dali Bus.
In this installation, the sensors will all work together to control their targets but can be configured with the zencontrol express app to control different targets.
Connecting multiple sensors
Connecting multiple Smart sensors together (wireless)
A wireless network can be used to interconnect multiple IOT sensors using the zencontrol Express App. It is recommended that only 16 sensors are used per installation, but the technical limit is 64 sensors.
The sensors will all work together in the installation to control their targets which could be the same, shared or overlapping.
