zencontrol smart devices, such as switches and sensors allow standalone use though their inbuilt application controllers. These products use multi-master control-system logic which allows them to interact with other smart devices and create simple networks but allow complex control.
There are three main modes in which zencontrol smart devices can be used, these modes are:
Single device
As a single device by itself used to control lighting, such as fixed output loads, DALI loads or Wireless loads. An example of this solution is a room of lighting controlled by a single smart switch or smart sensor. In this mode the smart switch is controlling the DALI devices in broadcast mode.
Multiple smart devices
Single or Multiple smart devices linked together, either by a DALI line or a wireless connection. In this mode they can be configured to control the lighting via DALI groups or Broadcast control. Multiple devices can control the same target and will work together in a multi-master installation. As example of this could be two light switches at opposite sides of a room, which interact to control the lighting in the room.
Connected to a DALI-2
application controller
Connected to a DALI-2 application controller with either wired or wireless connections allowing full building control.
